Memorial

In this day and age, it is enough for us to be remembered....how many of us will be remembered and in what capacity...the seriousness of this blog comes from the fact that last night I spent in my school yard commemorating what I can only say was a fine and classy lady....she was a teacher to many of us - both children and adults and is sorely missed....we dedicated this garden to her memory and we all had tears in our eyes.....we will always remember you Lois.

To leave such an impression in a school is an amazing thing.........

Initials are coming.........

While making some glass pendants I came along a sheet of letters that I once bought and downloaded but never used.....so I decided to try my hand at pendants with initials.....my problem was what letter?  Everyone's name had different letters and I really could not make one for each letter of the alphabet....my, what would I do with 26 pendants?

So I decided to advertise by picking two letters and......well, here, take a look....what do you think?

MAKING STRIDES WALK TODAY OCT. 17....

The greatest gift of all was given today when loads of people set foot in Prospect Park to turn out for the Making Strides Walk for Breast Cancer.....the crowd was amazing and I was happy to say I was a part of this fantastic gathering of friends, family, colleagues and strangers......

We helped ACS raise $432,381.49 to help save lives.

Not here...........

Saturday and the....

living is easy.....got to get my nails done.....that housework keeps breaking them....Mmmm maybe I should give us housework?  and then back home to straighten up....two grandsons over all the time equals a mess....then hubby said we will go out to a movie....which one and you know how long its been since we went to a movie....but it will be a delightful change......what are you doing today?
