Found I can watch TV on my IPad

Technology is wonderful. Where else can you sit and watch TV Anywhere. Using my IPad since hubby likes his classic TV channel and I am not into Charlie chan and The Thin Man. It's black and white. TV is color and HD and so i watch the Mets beating the Yankees tonight on my IPad.

Let's hope it stays that way !!

Making my life matter

it has been a while since I blogged.....life keeps getting in the way but alas with 6 days left to the school term, I am looking forward to a whole two months off.  I consider myself luck to be working in a school where I get these perks...as usual I plan to relax, read and somewhere in there get the master bathroom renovated.....is that relaxing?


 


Anyway, this morning I browsed around and found this great blog http://makingourlifematter.com/ that made we realize that summer is here, reading is good and relaxing even better.  I seem to find that the older I get, the more I must slow down......and I love reading.  So if you are interested in some great books (they are going on my list) check it out,

I am finding it hard

to blog lately as I have my nose into Fifth Shades of Grey trilogy.....yep, finally succumbed to this rave that is going on all over.  I had been asked many times if I was reading it.....not that I am a prude, but I am more into mysteries and thrillers....you know, whodunits.  I like to try to find out who the murderer is and love twist and turns and surprises at the end of the book.

So after all the talking about it among friends and family and colleagues....I started the book.  Actually i am on Book 2......and this is why I have not been blogging......comments welcome....
